Stepper Servo Motor speed and acceleration settings

I think we are using a 68mm NEMA 34 Stepper Servo Motor with the Rotary Actuator V2 with Sensor Provision. The stepper motor is acting as a rotating spit for a metal jig fixture. We currently have the UR Caps speed an acceleration set to 100 and 10. With those current settings it rotates to fast, and we are concerned it will be a safety hazard. I have tried lowering the speed and acceleration but the noise and vibration coming from the stepper motor does not sound happy and sounds detrimental.
